Egypt-Based Fincart Raises $2.8 Million Seed Funding to Scale AI-Powered Logistics Platform Across MENA and Africa

Egypt-based e-commerce technology startup Fincart has secured $2.8 million in seed funding to accelerate the expansion of its artificial intelligence-powered logistics and operations platform across the Middle East and Africa.

The funding round was co-led by Launch Africa Ventures and Antler, with participation from Yango Ventures, Five35 Ventures, Bluestream Capital, Hi2 Global, Kalahari Venture Capital and other regional investors.

Fincart provides an AI-driven platform designed to help online merchants simplify shipping, logistics management and remittance operations. The solution enables businesses to connect with multiple shipping providers through existing carrier agreements while providing access to customized working capital financing to support business growth.

By combining logistics technology with embedded financial solutions, Fincart aims to address operational challenges faced by e-commerce businesses, including fragmented shipping processes, payment management and access to growth capital.

The company said the new funding will support improvements to its technology platform, expansion of its team, development of strategic partnerships and acceleration of its regional growth strategy across the Middle East and Africa.

As e-commerce continues to expand across emerging markets, Fincart’s platform highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence and fintech solutions in helping businesses scale more efficiently.

The investment marks another milestone for Egypt’s growing startup ecosystem and the broader digital commerce landscape across Africa and the Middle East.
