Nutanix has unveiled significant enhancements to its Elevate Service Provider Program, introducing new multitenant cloud capabilities through the Nutanix Service Provider Central platform. These updates are designed to help partners scale their operations, differentiate their offerings, and deliver enterprise-grade Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions to their customers. The initiative reflects Nutanix’s commitment to empowering service providers to modernise and adopt cloud operating models on their terms.
The Service Provider Central platform provides a unified management interface, enabling service providers to operate multiple tenants on shared infrastructure while maintaining control, compliance, and governance. Individual tenants benefit from private cloud environments with access to Nutanix Prism for managing compute, storage, networking, identity, and authorisation. This approach ensures operational efficiency while giving customers autonomy over their own cloud resources.
Nutanix has also introduced the “Powered by Nutanix: Verified Solutions” program, allowing service providers to earn official verification for solutions aligned with Nutanix best practices and architectural standards. Initially covering private cloud services such as Sovereign IaaS and Disaster Recovery as a Service, the program will expand to include additional offerings, including Desktop as a Service and cloud-native solutions, helping customers easily identify trusted, high-quality services.
To support transitions from VMware, Nutanix offers onboarding incentives for service providers, allowing them to adopt Nutanix software on new three-year subscriptions at a nominal monthly cost during the initial promotional period. This reduces the financial burden of migration and accelerates adoption, enabling service providers to deliver scalable and secure cloud services efficiently while maintaining continuity for their customers.
Service providers collaborating with Nutanix, including Continent 8 Technologies, DartPoints, Expedient, and ITS Integra, emphasise that the new platform provides flexibility, scalability, and operational simplicity for delivering next-generation multitenant cloud services. Nutanix’s enhancements are designed to meet evolving enterprise IT demands, offering secure, efficient, and self-sufficient platforms for service providers to grow and innovate.
